Artist Statement:
My painting are mostly quite intense and emotional. I love vivid, contrast colour combination, splashes and the texture of the brushes. Most of my inspiration comes from the nature. I enjoy the pure joy of painting wild and free abstract art out of personal emotion using the medium I have in hand.
However, lots of the spark of creation comes from my observation to the native vegetation and animals. I am obsessed with the falling tree leaves in Autumn, the bloom in seasons, falling feather of a Cacatua, the sounds from a Kookaburra, even the most common flowers as dandelion or a grass seed on the streets has its own inner-strength and its own message to deliver. Painting the nature helps me to be in the moment.
The faster the world runs, we need to slow down our heart. I often walk into the woods, just to touch the bark of the trees, feel the texture of it, look at the colours and the details, feels the story that the nature wants to tell me .
I want to turn these amazing moment that once touched my heart deeply into a piece of art, and how wonderful it is if you can feel the same, or even a moment of calm from it?
That's my goal to achieve, and that's what I want to share with you today.
