John Malkovich Recreates Famous Portraits Throughout History

From Dangerous Liasons to RED, John Malkovich has played both beast and buffoon. It’s unlikely that there is a more diverse actor under the sun. In a project celebrating Malkovich’s master status as a theatrical chameleon, as well as paying tribute to landmark photography, Sandro Miller brings us this new photo-series.

Entitled Malkovich, Malkovich, Malkovich: Homage to photographic masters, the project does exactly what it says on the tin. From iconic imagery such as Salvador Dali’s ridiculous mustachios to the unforgettable Marilyn Monroe preserving her dignity with a pair of pink roses, Miller and Malkovich recreate a whole plethora of portraits with infinite attention to detail and endless wit.
