My Architectural training informs my vision and creative process. The study of architecture and art history led me to the oldest form of representational art: stone carving.
Diverse inspirations, curiosity, and the joy of discovery impact my intention as both an architect and now as an artist. I strive to transform and heighten ones experience of place by offering unexpected opportunities for creative engagement.
I believe that when representation, interpretation and expression are derived from the rich history of a place and its people, art has the potential to transform people’s day-to-day experiences, creating a beacon of creative engagement and interaction.
My work illustrates broad and varied subject matter and themes, which connect with a diverse and eclectic audience. I often use symbiology and iconography to tell a story, inspire, motivate, and invite reflection and interpretation.
