Owning a dog is a big responsibility. You're their protector and carer and companion. But most importantly of all, you're their number one form of love and attention. 

Adopting a dog is an even bigger responsibility as it gives the dog a new lease on life. To help it forget about the problems that found it in a shelter to begin with.

Moscow illustrator Bird Born knew this all too well when he decided to go to the shelter one day and found his beloved dog. He wrote about it in and adorable comic which you can see below.
