Adopt a Scorpion or Cockroach for Your Ex this Valentines Day!

Instead of hoping that low-life ex gets his or her just deserts, why not be proactive about that messy breakup? Do something for them – and yourself – this Valentine’s Day. San Francisco Zoo is giving you the opportunity, with hissing cockroaches and scorpions up for adoption in your ex’s name.

For just a small donation (between $US25 and $50), you’ll be the adoptive parent to a ‘giant cuddly cockroach’ or a ‘giant hairy scorpion’ and be able to name them after that former flame. Your money will go towards a good cause, too. It’ll support ‘these mysterious invertebrates and further the San Francisco Zoological Society’s mission to connect people to wildlife, inspire caring for nature, and advance conservation action’.

Just make sure you read the fine print before you set upon your revenge and buy a dozen cockroaches and scorpions… “All sales are final”!
