Friends Dress Up As A Different Version Of The Same Celebrity Every Year, And It’s Hilarious

In one of the best Halloween traditions we’ve ever seen, Auburn Salcedo and her friends collectively dress up as different versions of the same celebrity every year.

Everything began eight years ago when all seven of them were hired for a job in advertising. “It was a totally hellish experience and we ended up bonding so that we could make it through the day-to-day craziness,” Salcedo told BuzzFeed. “We all quit within two weeks of each other and have been best friends ever since!”

“Our first group costume was zombie pageant queens; all the costumes for women at the time were hyper-sexualized and not incredibly interesting,” Salcedo added. “We came up with the seven Johnny Depps the following year, and it was so well-received at our annual Halloween party that we kinda just knew we had something.”

  1. 2018 Tom Hanks: Toy Story, Castaway, Apollo 13, Forrest Gump, Big, David S. Pumpkins (SNL), A League of Their Own

  2. 2016 Bill Murrays: Garfield, Space Jam, Caddyshack, The Life Aquatic, Ghostbusters, Kingpin, What About Bob?

  3. 2015 Robin Williams: Mrs. Doubtfire, Mork, Jumanji, Popeye, Hook, Aladdin, The Birdcage

Full Disclosure: The Genie (OP/me…hi) is Photoshopped in (duh). I did full Genie makeup and it was horrific. I had nightmares from it and it was my own face. So yeah, I replaced it with a photo of Genie me pre-full face makeup. If you are looking for a Halloween scare, you can find the old photo… if you dare muahahaha!

  4. 2014 Will Ferrells: Elf, Blades of Glory, Zoolander, Anchorman, Night at the Roxbury, Semi-Pro, Talladega Nights

  5. 2012 Johnny Depp: Fear and Loathing, Pirates of the Caribbean, Alice in Wonderland, Sweeney Todd, Cry Baby, Edward Scissorhands, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory

  6. And here’s a photo from a couple weeks ago so we can knock out all the questions about if we are really friends and what we look like out of costume
