So, you may have noticed. We’ve got a new dog. And we’ve learnt some new tricks. We spent almost all of 2014 fine-tuning artFido.com to make it even easier to buy and sell art online. And we’re pretty proud of the results. Fido has never looked so good. And the site, well it’s running like a dream. Here are the top ten things about the new artFido.

1. A FRESH IDENTITY

We felt like Fido and his frame needed a little refresh. Now we have some bright new colors, a new logo and some quirky Fido-inspired icons – just for the fun of it.

2. BIGGER THUMBNAILS

All art deserves to shine. So we increased the size of our thumbnails, making it even easier for buyers to quickly spot (and fall in love with) their next purchase.

3. ART CATEGORIES

To help buyers find the art they’re after, we introduced six art categories to serve as jumping off points for their artFido.com search.

4. SIMPLIFIED NAVIGATION

We stripped away all of the unnecessary navigation terms. Browse. Sell. Blog. About. It doesn’t get any clearer than that.

5. MORE SOCIAL

At artFido, we’re pretty social. We’ve got over 830k Facebook fans and more than 500k Instagram followers. So we integrated them into our homepage. Let the party begin.

6. LARGER IMAGES

Listing pages now display a much larger image of the art for sale. The preview function is also improved, making it easier for buyers to get all giddy about the art for sale on artFido.

7. A BIG FEATURE SECTION

We made art king. Now the first thing visitors see when they visit artFido.com is art. Followed by messages that highlight the site’s benefits and link to some of our most important arty pages.

8. MORE ART ON THE HOMEPAGE

By simplifying our homepage we made room for more art. That’s better for everyone, buyers and sellers alike.

9. RESPONSIVE

Our site is now fully responsive! So whether you’re using a PC, tablet or smart phone, artFido will always look and work great.

10. FEATURED ARTIST

And finally, our artists are amazing. So we improved our featured artist section to reward them for their commitment to art and artFido. Hail to the artists of the world!
