Yogi Master Contorts Her Body into Incredible Poses to Overcome Depression and Anxiety

As a survivor of PTSD, anxiety, depression, and rape, Heidi Williams turned to yoga to rejuvenate her mind, body, and spirit.

According to Heidi:

“Yoga brought me to a safe place again. The moment I released others from the responsibility of empowering me, is the moment I released myself from being the victim.
So many of us struggle to allow this kind of transformation to happen. Because we have only learned how to rely on others approval to gauge our worth.
We’ve learned to rely solely on the most volatile and ever shifting source of validation- people.
Putting your worth in someone elses lap is like putting your money in sinking sand.
Sooner or later it will disappoint and leave you feeling worthless.
Find you power by tuning into your own body. Become aware of your opinions, your thoughts, your desires and start you own truth map.
I promise it will be the best thing you’ve ever done.”

We can’t begin to fathom the amount of pain that Heidi has gone through. But where there was darkness, Heidi has brought light with her stunning poses and equally stunning images. We hope you will like them too.
