Artist Creates Glow-in-the-Dark Murals Only Visible in UV Light

Untitled

Hungarian-born, Vienna-based artist Bogi Fabian uses glowing UV paint to create gorgeous, luminescent murals that can only be seen under a black light. With the flip of a light switch, blank bedroom walls are suddenly covered with cosmic scenes, glittering stars, beautiful landscapes, and lush flora and fauna that emit an ethereal radiance in the darkness.

“I am trying to creat dreamful atmospheres, paint walls and floors and manage to enlighten my art with and without a source of energy,” the artist writes on her website. “Thus, the spectator can experience the result in the daylight as well as in the dark, and in that way enjoy it in all its facets. . . My goal is to create unique spaces and rooms giving them an identity and a soul, where relaxing and living become an experience.”
