Artist Uses Modern Translucent Materials to “Fix” Broken Wooden Furniture


Visual artist Tatiane Freitas repairs broken wooden furniture by replacing the missing pieces with translucent acrylic as part of her ongoing series titled My Old New Chair.

Her designs restore functionality to the chairs while acknowledging the history of each piece and looking pretty darn amazing.
