This Optical Illusion Zebra Stripe Crosswalk in Iceland Stops Traffic

The small town of Ísafjörður in Iceland has discovered a brilliant way to use art to slow down people’s driving. It’s a 3D pedestrian crossing and it is absolutely amazing. Optical illusion helps the crossing appear to be magically floating in mid air, rather than painted flat on the concrete. As you approach while driving, the zebra stripes seem to pop up at you, creating what looks like an actual barrier that your car can’t cross.
