Iceland is a captivating location filled with beautiful landscapes of snow and ice.

Recently New York City-based photographer and filmmaker Drew Doggett visited the country to capture a magical series called ‘In the Realm of Legends’, documenting the wild horses that live there.

Dogget, who artistic practise usually consists of black and white, opted to shoot in color for this series.

“The light created brilliant hues that added a sublime texture to the entire series,” Doggett explains. “Coupled with the contrast between the landscape and the horses, I knew this body of work demanded color.”
