Exploring the left-brain, right-brain dominance theory with artist Gregoire Meyer

Digital artist and photographer Gregoire Meyer’s latest work – Shattered – explores the left-brain, right-brain dominance theory.  According to the theory, each side of the brain controls different types of thinking. Additionally, people are said to prefer one type of thinking over the other. For example, a person who is “left-brained” is often said to be more logical, analytical and objective, while a person who is “right-brained” is said to be more intuitive, thoughtful, creative and subjective. Further, “right brainers” are said to be good at recognizing faces, expressing emotions, music, reading emotions, color, images, intuition, and creativity.

We’re not sure if the theory plays out, but we’re definitely a fan of Meyer’s work! Does the theory ring true for you?
